Position End Date:  August 31, 2024
Compensation: Maximum of $32,000 ($20.00/hour at the rate of 35 hours/week for a maximum of 46 weeks)

We're hiring two Program Coordinators to join our team under the guidance of our Next Gen Program Manager. If you're passionate about empowering youth (ages 10-18) through education and workshops, then this role is perfect for you! Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

​

  • Deliver engaging Next Gen workshops to inspire & educate young minds

  • Prepare interactive program activities for workshops and events

  • Collaborate with our Next Gen team to shape educational content

  • Contribute to creating awesome educational materials like lesson plans, blogs, and worksheets

  • Support the growth of our program and engage in outreach efforts

  • Administer evaluations to gather valuable insights from participants.


Requirements:

​

  • Leadership experience working with youth (ages 10-18).

  • Experience in teaching or facilitating diverse youth programs.

  • Willingness to travel within Ontario and other provinces (expenses covered!).

  • Excellent communication skills to engage youth on various topics.

  • Embrace an anti-racist, trauma-informed approach.

  • Energetic, flexible, and eager to learn.

  • Open to feedback and able to work independently and in a team.

  • Punctual, organized, and always reliable.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
