Welcoming our new Executive Director

The Mosaic Institute is delighted to announce the appointment of Leigh Naturkach as our Executive Director. Leigh is a values-based non-profit leader, committed volunteer, and social justice advocate. Prior to joining Mosaic, she held multiple roles at Women’s College Hospital Foundation, most recently as Senior Director, Philanthropy and Legacy Giving, driving millions to advance healthcare equity and innovation. Leigh worked previously in fundraising for ACT, supporting people affected by HIV, and for gender equity at the Canadian Women’s Foundation. She managed the multi-million dollar national campaign, Women Moving Women, to empower thousands of women to gain economic security. Leigh also managed gender- based violence prevention program grants across the country. Leigh has a degree and background in media and marketing, and a certificate in community engagement. Leigh's volunteer experience over two decades in Board and frontline roles has focused on gender equity, reproductive justice, at-risk youth, and in end of life rights and care spaces. She has served Dying with Dignity Canada, Hospice Toronto, MAiDHouse, Youth Assisting Youth, Ernestine’s, Scarborough Women’s Centre, the former Arrabon House and Canadians for Choice. Leigh has been a member of the National End of Life Doula Association, and of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners. Some of her other interests include writing, caring for rescue animals, and sports. Leigh looks forward to connecting with you.
